Zaha Hadid Design (ZHD) is a contemporary design studio that’s carrying forward the design language and style of the late architect and designer Zaha Hadid. With Milan Furniture Fair approaching fast, the firm has announced they will be showcasing the Seyun wooden chair at the event. The distinct beauty of this chair lies in its fine craftsmanship, organic shapes, and elegant silhouette.
Made in collaboration with the Japanese wooden furniture manufacturer Karimoku, the Seyun chair is a fusion of machine-made and hand-finished processes. At first glance, you’ll find the backrest to be really creative – comprising three parts. The chair design aims to explore the possibilities of combining hardness of the wood with lightness of the design.
