Xiaomi is all set to raise bars for the leading global TV brands with the launch of its most premium and aggressively priced QLED 4K TV. The brand-new 75-inch Mi TV Q1 features a 4K UHD resolution display with quantum dot technology to offer a true-to-life cinematic experience. This edge-to-edge display comes with a premium metal finish and an epic 178-degree viewing angle, for enabling truly bezel-less viewing from different angles.
The 4K QLED display panel accommodates 100-percent NTSC color range with 1.07 billion color variations and 1,024 different color shades. There are also 192 zones of full array dynamic local dimming to achieve a stellar contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ further enhance the viewing experience.
The 75-inch Mi TV Q1 75 also touts an impressively high 120Hz screen refresh rate. Coupled with HDMI 2.1 ports and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), it also makes is an ideal 4K TV for gamers and streamers.
Audio specs of the new Mi TV are also noteworthy as it accommodates within its frame a 30W stereo speaker system that utilizes six speakers – two tweeters and four woofers to offer cinematic sound. The TV also supports Dolby AudioTM and DTS-HD for further audio enhancement.
Xiaomi’s new TV is built on the latest Android TVTM 10 that provides an easy user interface and offers access to more than 700,000 movies and TV shows, and over 5,000 apps in the Google Play Store. Popular apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube come pre-installed on the Mi TV Q1 75.
There are dedicated buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video on the remote, making it easier for users to access their favorite content. Xiaomi has integrated voice control in the new TV. There are dedicated microphones for far-field voice control (up to 3 meters). Users can enjoy hands-free control over their TV and other connected smart devices by simply saying “OK, Google” to activate the Google Assistant.
For privacy concerns, it has a physical switch at the bottom of the screen panel to mute the microphone. Other features include Chromecast built-in for easy screen mirroring and also comes with support for Amazon Alexa.

Starting from March 2021, the 75-inch Mi TV Q1 will be available in certain regions at a price of €1,299 (about $1,575). As per TechRadar, the new Mi TV will be first launched in Spain, Germany, Italy, and France while the US, UK, and Australia are not getting it. It can however be expected to arrive in India, which is one of the biggest markets for Xiaomi.
