Swedish designer Nathalie Dackelid has presents her latest piece of furniture dubbed Wooden Cloth at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2015. The minimalist dining table is aptly named, as its top can be stretched or folded just like a cloth. Due to its flexible design, the versatile table can adjust itself for different purposes as per the user’s needs.
This table is made from solid ash finished with transparent Osmo oil for enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The underside of dining table comes with tiny wooden leaves that allow the user to alter its size when needed. To change roll or unroll the tabletop, you simply have to pull the supporting board out as far as desired and let the extra leaves drape over the side.
The wooden dining table adapts to any space whether small or big, eliminating the necessity to change furniture in case you have to relocate it. This means you can easily use it in small or large apartments as well as accommodate extra friends for lunch or dinner. Check out the video given below to find out how the table can be re-sized.
