Located under two hour’s drive from Sydney, Australia near Bilpin, Wollemi Wilderness Treehouse is a dreamy Blue Mountains getaway. Perched high atop the trees, it overlooks Bowen’s Creek Gorge and the World Heritage Blue Mountains. The treehouse is one of the seven vacation retreats by Wollemi Cabins.
While its location is itself something to behold, the real attraction is the adrenaline-pumping treehouse with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that establishes a closer connection of interior space with outdoors.
One can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surroundings from anywhere in the treehouse that comprises a living room, kitchenette, queen bed, spa, and deck.
No fancy decorations are used – a large living turpentine tree with branches can be seen sprawling throughout the living areas, adding an organic charm to the interiors.
There is no provision for Wi-Fi or TV since the place is designed primarily to allow guest to disconnect from the routine and spend time with nature.
