Built on the foundation of an old wooden cottage, this tiny wooden gazebo in Prague, the Czech Republic, features Shou Sugi Ban exterior

Named Garden Pavilion, the 20sqm tiny retreat serves as a refuge right in the middle of owner's garden

The owners wanted the interior space to seamlessly connect with the surrounding garden

BYRÓ architekti team came up with a hinged frosted glass wall

This front facade can be lifted up to open the cabin to the outside

This way, the two-story cabin transforms into a gazebo, bringing in the surrounding views

The cabin is designed primarily as a seasonal indoor space with library and wine-cooling cellar

It also has sleeping accommodations for emergency sleepovers

There is one photovoltaic panel on the roof for solar lights
