Coffee-making has new innovation in Kara Pod that turns humidity from the air into fresh drinking water and combines it with a coffee machine
Referred to as the "world’s first self-refilling coffee machine” it generates 7+ pH level alkaline water from humidity in the air in your house
The coffee machine works like a dehumidifier. It pulls water from the air and condenses it into liquid form.
Once condensed, the water is purified via a combination of heat, UV light, and replaceable filters to remove lead, chlorine, fluoride, and microplastics
This countertop device can produce nearly a gallon of water (about 3 liters) per day, which can be used for drinking or for brewing coffee
A touchscreen interface onboard lets you control the Kara Pod, which is also compatible with coffee pods
The Kara Pod was an Honoree at the 2025 CES Innovation Awards in the Home Appliance category. It is expected to start shipping in March for $299
