Artist and designer, Marco Rambaldi, has created a series of Hype Chairs
Combining AI and Photoshop skills he reimagines iconic chairs as Nike sneakers.
Rambaldi, known as MarkVonRama on Instagram, shares his creations with a disclaimer that they are not real and not for sale.
Hype chair designs include Nike makeovers of iconic furniture pieces from brands like Herman Miller and Miles van der Rohe.
The collection includes a total of eight chairs.
Featuring Eames Lounge and Ottoman transformed into the Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Chicago," and the Eames Molded Shell Rocking chair reimagined as the Ambush Air Force 1.
Some draw inspiration from designs by Mies van der Rohe and Vitra, featuring armrests adorned with Swooshes and lace eyelets from the Air Jordan 4.
The Hype Chairs are primarily visual artworks and not meant for actual lounging.
Chairs incorporate design elements such as the Jumpman logo, fabric tags, and Swooshes protruding from the sides, adding to the sneaker-inspired aesthetic.
In addition to chairs, Rambaldi has also shared sneaker-themed AI houses on social media, gaining significant attention.
