Italian luxury fashion house Fendi has collaborated with London-based designer Lewis Kemmenoe for its latest ænigma collection
The collaboration combines Kemmenoe’s signature patchwork aesthetic with Fendi's Roman elegance
He visited Rome’s museums, botanical gardens and Fendi headquarters and a factory for thorough research
The ænigma collection comprises two chairs, a metal-embedded cabinet, two wall panels, two lamps, a coffee table, and three vessels
Duality in materials is the standout factor, with chairs made in two different materials brass and aluminum
The collection utilizes organic matter like timber or stone to contrast the metallic pieces
Box joints and the Maison’s signature FF logo are also visible in most pieces
Lewis has also re-interpreted the brand’s iconic Peekaboo Soft bag in Fendi leathers cut into a jacket pattern, and then patchworked to imitate a key motif of his work
