These Couples have Made Significant Contributions to the Tiny House Industry

The couple came into the limelight after traveling 55,000 miles in their 130-square-foot tiny house on wheels. Currently, they share stories of other tiny house owners on their YouTube channel, Tiny House Expedition.

Robert and Samantha of Shedsistence have inspiring stories to tell. Having lived with their baby in a 204 sqft home built in 2014, they share their tiny living journey on their blog Shedsistence. This particular house is now available on Airbnb.

The couple built a 204 sqft tiny house and lived in it for four years before starting their own tiny house manufacturing company in 2014. Already reckoned the biggest tiny home builders in America, their company Wind River Built has finished a 100,000 sqft manufacturing site in Cleveland, TN.

The founders of Fritz Tiny Homes, Kevin and Heather Fritz first lived in a school bus-converted home before building tiny homes. In 2020, they launched their business with a 268 sqft model. Fritz currently offers five tiny house models on its website.

D'Arcy McNaughton and Olivia built their own tiny house called Domek in 2020. After inhabiting it for a while, they founded the Acorn Tiny Homes with Domek being the flagship model. Acorn is not in business, at the time of writing.
