This Boxy Speaker Pays Homage to 1950s Brutalist Architecture

Sweden-based company Transparent known for its tempered glass-walled speakers, launches a new design that would surely entice architecture enthusiasts

Named the Brutalist speaker, it pays homage to the Brutalist architectural style of the 1950s

The speaker features a raw look with geometric shapes and minimalist design what Brutalism is known for

Made from 70-percent recycled aluminum, it looks like a rectangular box, with 23.2x 14.2x10.2 inches dimensions and 26.5 lbs weight

The two clearly visible tweeters positioned on different angles also catch the eye

There are volume, bass and treble controls on the front

With a 6.5-inches woofer and two 3-inches tweeters, the speaker offers a frequency response range of 32Hz to 20kHz at -6dB

It comes with built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, two line-in ports and supports Multiroom Audio via Wiim Mini module

You can easily connect to Spotify Connect, Airplay 2, Tidal Connect, Amazon Music, and many more

The speaker is also Alexa compatible but there is no built-in mic to ensure privacy

Available in two colors, it is priced $4,000 at the official website
