Italy-based furniture manufacturer Fantin has unveiled its latest Wave collection, for which Fantin experiments with curved metal that takes the center stage. The material has always been a part of the company’s production and the Wave further exhibits the unabashed charm of the metal forms.
Designed by Italian design studio ruga.perissinotto, the collection consists of a writing desk, shelves, and bookends. Each accessory in the collection is characterized by the curves and bending of metal to create a two-dimensional furniture that appears to be floating.
The minimalist wall-mounted furniture is designed to fit every space, especially smaller rooms and apartments. All the pieces in the collection have been finished in pink clay to give each object a desirable and aesthetic quality and embody the industrial charm.
The collection adapts seamlessly to various workspaces and creates a more utilitarian space for the users to work. Furthermore, It is flexible and versatile. To underline the versatility, the writing desk comes with a drawer that merges seamlessly with the desk design and gives a structural appearance along with the functional aspect. It doesn’t take much space on the wall and comes with or without a drawer.
“On one side is our talent for designing two-dimensional shapes and lines that unfold on planes to form volumes. On the other is Fantin’s total mastery of the technology behind bending, which is the metal processing stage from which everything subsequently stems,” ruga.perissinotto told Archiproducts.

Other accessories that complete the collection are bookends and magnetic shelves. Enhancing the use of a space are the wave-shaped bookends that add a playful and aesthetic touch to your walls. The floating shelves keep the space organized and clutter-free. You can place decorative items such as plants, books, notebooks, paintings, and vases to make it your own.
The company focuses on sustainability by using renewable and recyclable materials for each product. To that accord, the Wave collection uses metal that can be renewed and recycled at the end of its life.
