Inspired by nature and situated in the heart of the Austrian Alps, Ufogel is an awesome holiday retreat which offers majestic views of snow clad mountains along with richness of beautiful wooden interiors. The name ‘Ufogel’ is derived by combining the words U.F.O and vogel (which means bird in German). The structure of this contemporary micro house is raised on stilts which gives an impression of an alien craft from a distance and also reduces the impact on the ground. Ufogel is a perfect holiday home for those who are seeking to spend their time in the lap of the nature far from pollution and the concrete jungle.
Designed by Architect Peter Jungmann, the 485 square-foot home is constructed from larch wood, glass and metal. Large panoramic windows are specially designed to bring nature indoors to you. The windows allow a person to relax while reading his favorite book and enjoying the incredible views of mountains of East Tyrol at the same time. During winters the floor heating system and a wood-burning stove keeps you warm and cozy. The bedrooms can accommodate up to four persons and features a full-size bathroom with a shower. You can spend your holidays in this heaven’s paradise as the Ufogel micro home is open for reservations.
