Moen is a well-known name for faucets and the U by Moen Wi-Fi shower system that can be controlled with voice commands. Over again, the brand has launched new products, including the U by Moen smart faucet at CES 2020. It offers various control options and can deliver an exact amount of water in the desired temperature without having to touch it, an ideal feature for kitchens where hands are generally pre-occupied.
The U by Moen smart faucet can be controlled with the wave of the hand, through voice commands to a smart speaker or via companion mobile app. If you don’t like the tricks, you can even control the faucet manually through the onboard handle.
It is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. There is a motion sensor at the front of the faucet to turn the water on or off with simple hand gestures, while a handle to the side of the faucet for manual control.
The mobile app provides water usage statistics, as well as access to customizable settings, personalized presets, and custom commands for the faucet. Water is delivered in fractional metric and non-metric measurements, from as small as a tablespoon up to 15 gallons, which is a rare feature in faucets.
