Belgian family-run design house, Tribù that specializes in designer outdoor furniture, launched Elio collection toward the end of the last year. Designed by Canadian firm Yabu Pushelberg, the collection comprises cocooning armchairs, easy chairs, high-back lounge chairs, and a two-seater sofa.
Each furniture piece is a unique combination of natural teak frame and seats of handwoven Tricord rope. Warm and inviting, the weaving fuses heritage textile techniques with contemporary dyeing process to create a material that mimics the warm and gentle feeling of light in the sky at dusk.
The rich gradient effect in the seat and backrest is achieved by weaving multiple colors of yarn into one strand, making each piece of furniture unique. The weaving is done in Linen, Wengé, and Moss. On the other hand, its natural teak frame supports the seating shell primarily through back legs.

The Elio furniture collection is distinguished by a softly rounded silhouette that draws inwards to create a cozy cocoon effect. The wooden legs and woven yarn seat also makes up a contrasting combination. These furniture pieces look comfortable and stylish, good to add naturalistic character to a patio or terrace.
