Living Big in a Tiny House is an online platform that acquaints us with the startling journeys of people who downsize for valid personal reasons. From wanting to break free from the vicious rent loop to someone who wishes to form close ties with nature, they tend to delve into the lives of many. Falling into the latter category comes Kristy, a solo mother living her dream life in her expansive dwelling.
Kirsty has built an amazing tiny house that caters to her and her young daughter. The home is beautifully designed, spacious and is filled with everything the pair needs. With a dark sturdy exterior to a light soft interior, the transformation is stark yet truly inspiring.
Kristy’s bent toward nature in particular is a constant underlying emotion that is reflected throughout the abode. The outside features a well-kept home garden along a fire pit to combat those chilly evenings. This cozy and creative tiny dwelling is situated in the middle of an orchard offering spacious interiors and loads of storage space for her young one to play, enjoy and appreciate an organic way of living.
Upon entring you directly find yourself facing the storage integrated stairs (in the middle) that rightly divide the house into dedicated zones. A spacious lounge area is cozily snuggled toward the left and the right side houses the kitchen and bathroom.

The living area has plenty of room for a convertible couch and storage, and strikingly comes without a TV as Kristy wishes to promote the most natural way of living. The kitchen has a wooden table that serves duality by acting as a cooking or dining nook. An airy bathroom at the rear end of the house is well-equipped with all modern amenities. Large dark paneled windows pour in natural light and offer impressive views.
The stairs lead the way to two individual lofts-one for Kristy and one for her daughter. Roomy, cozy and multi-functional, these lofts render a touch to the individuals living in them. The home is on a large property with several other young families that have come together to form a wonderful tiny community. Featured by Living Big in a Tiny House, the tiny house stands tall as a symbol of freedom for Kristy and a safe haven for the wonderful duo.

I like the concept of a tiny house. What I don’t l8ke are “second” floor bedrooms that aren’t at least 6 feet tall. We’re not going to be young forever or necessarily have straight backs.
Best tiny house I think I have ever seen.. Except for the composting toilet, and the ridiculous price with no land! These use to be affordable. A very short time ago, this would have been $78000, tops.
