Tiny houses don’t give you many possibilities when it comes to decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. There’s barely enough space to put down a sofa and table, where would you find room to fit in a Christmas tree?
I understand the frustration tiny house dwellers can feel during the holidays but there’s no reason for you to feel left out as you too can decorate for Christmas. You just need to be a little bit creative and imaginative. So before you rip off your hair trying to figure out what to do, let me give you some inspiration with these tiny house Christmas decoration ideas.
Add a bright-colored wreath inside the house, on the door.
You can put a pencil a skinny tree, or a real potted tree. If that’s not possible, go for a wall-mounted one.
Bring faux potted trees in your kitchen and add a Christmas hat as a cool prop.
For the loft, put up a small Christmas tree and printed art to inculcate the festive touch.
Spruce up the dining area with a couple of ceiling planters filled with holiday greenery. Add a couple of wreaths and a garland too.
Add colorful Christmas lights, along with an evergreen wreath to accentuate the exterior of the tiny house.
Don’t forget the bathroom. Add mini wreaths on vanity handles and a small potted Christmas tree on the counter to introduce festive vibes.
If your tiny house has a living area with a fireplace, you can very well hang stockings on it. Add a few lights and greenery around it and you are all set.
Since you don’t have floor space to put up decorations, think vertical. Use the ceiling to hand garlands, lights, and ornaments for a perfect Christmas setup.
If your tiny house has a loft bedroom with a staircase, you have a wonderful opportunity to deck it up as well. You only need a festive garland and a few lights, or just pinecones and bells.
