England-based bespoke furniture designer Alex MacMaster has created a contemporary wooden coffee table called Wave that has four flowing laminated pieces of birch ply and wood veneer interlocking with each other to create wave-like impression and provide support to mirror on top.
Inspired by nature and its surroundings, the Wave coffee table is created with absolute excellence in design and artisanship. The two wave-shaped curves that intersect each other at a certain point to create a strong base to hold the rectangular mirror on top are inspired by natural movement and motion of waves. All components as a single body present the same natural wave effect when viewed from above.
The 35x80x130 cm table, which weighs around 160 lbs, comes with a thick toughened glass with polished edges to beautifully showcase curvaceous base. Available in two materials: walnut and oak, the table can also be made using timber finish if specified.
Minimally designed coffee table is a perfect option for home as well as office spaces as the table is fashioned to complement any interior type. So, if your are planning to upgrade your living room interior, then Alex‘s wavy coffee table is a perfect option for $2,950.
