You should not look beyond The Dog tiny house if you want a perfect abode to downsize this winter. The house is not for the dogs but built to perfection by a brilliant team of Michigan-based tiny house builders, Cool Tiny Homes, for us humans. It’s tightly packed with amenities that cater to your needs and make downsizing a hassle-free experience. Advertently built to sleep four people, it is furnished with four bunk beds that transform into two spacious king-size beds or just one bed with storage.
The Dog tiny house measures 24 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 12 feet high. The exterior has a gable roof and looks robust thanks to the 29-gage metal and stained natural wood construction. Not just durable, the exterior has a moisture barrier, lending the structure a long life while keeping the interior moisture-free.
On the inside, you will feel the warmth of the tongue & groove cladding. The floor has been done in rubber diamond plate, whereas the walls and roof are insulated to keep you warm during those cold days. There are LED recessed lights throughout and on the porch outside.
Boasting 204 square feet of living space, the interior follows a practical and minimal approach focusing on functionality rather than aesthetics. There is a kitchen, a bathroom, a dinette, four bunk beds, and enough storage space.
Despite being compact, the kitchen is apt for cooking a generous meal. It is equipped with a butcher-block and laminate countertop, a sink, has adequate drawers, cabinets, and some shelves for storing basic kitchen necessities. There are appliances such as a refrigerator, a cooktop, and a vent hood. Across the kitchen is a dining set-up by the window where you can enjoy your meal in a little piece and quiet.
Little ahead is the bathroom. It has a shower, a vanity sink, and a toilet. There are shelves for storing toiletries and an exhaust fan as well to keep the bathroom smelling fresh and clean.

Moving on to the opposite end of the house, here the bunk beds and storage racks provide an efficient space. The storage racks on both sides are spacious enough to store many possible items. For sleeping there are four bunk beds that either convert into two king-size beds or can become a single bed with storage above and below. You can access the bunk beds via ladders positioned on either side of the beds.
The Dog tiny house is well outfitted with a tankless propane water heater, freshwater inlet, one greywater drain, smoke detectors, 30AMP 110 volt, propane tanks, and exterior lighting. The house is designed to make things easily accessible anytime, anywhere, and life less complicated on the road. It is priced at $84,900.
