Imagine a washing machine that doesn’t just clean but learns. Equipped with advanced AI, it understands fabric types, detects stains, and adjusts settings to deliver impeccable results every time. TENET AI Laundry Robot launched at CES in two variants is constructed ground up to do that. It makes washing clothes fun and convenient!
Along with AI to detect and treat stains, the washer/dryer is reported to have robotic arms that hang your garments to prevent wrinkles. The smaller egg-shaped version with hanging arms is intended for baby clothes, lingerie, and other smaller clothes. It has a petit form factor with an AI spectral sensor that can identify stains, make automatic adjustments to the wash cycle, and then use mechanical arms to hang-dry the clothes inside the machine after a 90-minute wash and dry cycle.
Laundry is one of the most time-consuming and universally shared chores. Common research shows that the average person spends hundreds of hours annually on laundry alone. TENET’s goal with the robotic machines is to give that time back so that homeowners can focus on what truly matters while the smart appliance takes care of the rest.
When it comes to taking care of the rest, TENET has gone the extra mile to achieve it. According to CNET, this egg-shaped tiny washing machine – in addition to the detailed functions – can also fold the laundry.

The second TENET Laundry Robot is slightly bigger and packs an AI garment recognition system with cameras and light sensors built inside of the machine. The machine can, at the time of loading, exactly identify the type of clothing – from fabric and color — and then set the wash cycle accordingly. The purpose of the AI model here is to ensure your clothing looks great and clean for as long as possible.
Other than the clothing identification and automated cleaning, the machine can, like its smaller version., hang-dry them after cleaning and also fold them up eventually. TENET AI Laundry Robots in both sizes are expected to launch in the US in the third quarter of 2025. Christmas gift anyone? The price is not disclosed at the time of writing.
