After bugging Travis Pyke, the CEO of Wind River Tiny Homes, for months, he and his team finally provided me with pictures of the Tellico tiny house. The latest micro-dwelling by the Tennessee-based mobile habitat manufacturing company is on the larger side. Measuring 45 feet in length and 12 feet in width, the micro dwelling is luxurious and fit for a family.
The tiny home comes based on a quad-axle trailer, which not only enhances the load-carrying capacity but also ensures lower ground pressure. The biggest highlight of the mobile habitat is its 10-foot integrated porch, meaning the primary structure of the tiny home spans 35 feet in length but stretches to 45 feet with the porch. The thoughtfully designed layout not only prioritizes comfort but also offers practicality to the user.
The porch is spacious and has enough space to host a chair, table, and sofa. It provides access to the living room of the house which is an open space equipped with a sofa. A large operable window on the backside of the sofa facilitates the inflow of air and natural light, hence brightening the space.
Another intriguing aspect of the living room is its spacious design. I liked that Wind River Tiny Homes made the call to avoid extra furnishings that could clutter the space. Adjacent to the living room of the Tellico tiny house is an open-concept kitchen divided into two spaces. On one side are the electric stainless steel appliances, while the other side constitutes a coffee nook with floating shelves.

Some notable features in the kitchen include a solid surface countertop with white subway tile backsplash, lower and upper cabinets, open shelving, and an under-mount stainless sink. The kitchen is further loaded with a range of appliances including Whirpool 11.6 cu. fridge, stainless cooktop, electric range oven, a stainless hood vent, and a microwave. The interior has multiple storage units that allow users to host nitty-gritty essentials.
The kitchen leads into a hallway, where you’ll find a toilet, shower, vanity base with a solid surface top, and some storage nooks to host bathrobe essentials. Here you’ll find a storage-integrated staircase that leads to the loft section of the house. Equipped with a queen or double-size bed, the bedroom of the Tellico tiny house ensures convenience and efficiency.

The tiny home also has a main-floor bedroom which can be accessed via hallway in the main-floor area. The room fits a queen-size bed with two floating nightstands. Other features include double closets for storing clothes and other accessories and a wooden top that can be utilized as a workstation.
The Tellico tiny house offers a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces and offers plenty of comfort to the user. Priced at $162,000, the tiny home is available for purchase at the official website of the maker.
