Nigerian designer Nifemi Marcus-Bello has revealed Nigeria’s creative potential by designing a knock-down table named Tebur, whose legs can be held to the tabletop surface. It is made out of the old barn wood and can be carried from one place to another with ease. The user simply has to screw screwable legs to the tabletop while using it and unscrew and slide them into a set of two fabric loops for easy storage when not in use. An oval cutout on one end of the tabletop facilitates portability like a suitcase in a convenient way.
The table is not only great for small spaces but offices too as the cutout allows an easy passage of computer wires for a clutter-free environment. However, stability and strength to endure heavy weight might be a concern, but then minimalism comes at a price.
