If you remember the floating glass cube restaurant to be built over the Hudson River in the US, something similar has been built by Czech Republic-based firm Studio H3T Architects under the remaining arch of an old railway bridge. Dubbed the Black Flying House, it stays true to its name with complete black design and minimal suspension mechanism through metal wires. If you are familiar with traditional black houses in Scottish highlands, then you might presume about its blackish appearance too.
Inside the tiny gabled house, there is window-confronting living area and loft sleeping area. There is a ladder to access the house from the hatch underneath, and later can be taken off to add an element of suspense. The glass windows and skylight next to the chimney brings in natural light and can also be covered. As seen from a distance, it appears to be hovering in mid-air, more like a witch house.
Maybe it has been designed in such a unique way to resemble its surroundings. Its mysterious appearance is the only special feature of the house.
