The trend of minimal and modular remains as fresh as ever. The Swivel Side Table is one such conceptual piece of furniture designed by Liam de la Bedoyere that has a sleek design offering modularity to your space. Inspired by his previously revered concept of the Split Table, the Swivel Side Table has a twist wherein users can customize and personalize this piece of furniture according to their preferences.
It acts as a side table for coffee, books, and other things. The design of the table is rather minimal and simple. The basic design looks like a bar table with around metal base and tabletop attached with a metal pole.
The two ends are further conjoined by wooden round disks with openings attached to the metal pole. The pole keeps the modular disks in place while allowing you to swivel them to customize the openings to create a compact storage space.
Liam tells Homecrux, “Swivel features a central metal frame that acts as a core, allowing CNC-cut wooden disks to slide and pivot. This design provides users the flexibility to swivel the disks, enabling them to customize their arrangement and create unique, personalized nooks for books or décor.”

The flexible design of this furniture encourages curiosity and imbues the space with playfulness. No matter how you arrange the disks, you get to enjoy the best of both worlds, from a typical and functional side table to contemporary and modular furniture that looks like a puzzle piece.
There is no end to the customization that you can do to complement your décor. The minimalistic and thought-provoking concept of Swivel Side Table reflects that there are no boundaries when it comes to creativity and imagination.
