While sleepless nights are a rite of passage for many new parents, developing a sleep pattern in babies is the key to their rapid mental and physical development. To lull your babe to sleep and encourage more peaceful sleep rhythm, parenting technology company BleepBleeps has imagined a device that is a baby monitor, sleep trainer and a nightlight, all in one.
Dubbed Suzy Snooze, the device is first-of-its-kind smart sleep trainer and baby monitor that acts like a sleep companion and helps babies to get a goodnight’s sleep. A three-in-one device is made by parents for parents to develop a healthy sleeping habit among all family members.
Fabricated in partnership with Mumsnet and Chief Medical Office at Sleepia, Colin Espie, the brightly-colored device with a little sleepy face and hat on top helps babies and children find a sleep routine or pattern. It is a complete new breed of baby monitors that emits soothing light and sound to create a comfortable environment for babies to fall asleep faster.
Fitted with a speaker in the bottom of the device, it comes with four sounds and light composition that are specifically designed by experts to prompt a sleepy feeling. It also teaches toddlers about the right time to wake up. Companionable with BleepBleeps mobile app, the smartphone compatible device transforms into an audio baby monitor that lets you listen to your baby while he/she sleeps.
Suzy Snooze is currently raising funds on Kickstarter and is available for pre-order. Available in four colors, it is expected to be shipped worldwide by March 2017.
