Robotic lawn mowers are getting better with AI-powered vision technologies, and the user-friendly Sunseeker V3 is a prime example of it. The new lawn mower bot utilizes AI to properly understand your lawn and recognize a number of different items on its way. It also comes with ReadyGo technology that allows you to mow your garden without wires or calibration with the base station – simply using the companion mobile app, that’s it!
V3’s 3D binocular camera with AI vision revolutionizes the mowing experience. The system can identify and avoid over 160 obstacles with precision, including lawn edges, books, sporting goods, etc. Supported by deep learning algorithms, it quickly adapts to different garden landscapes for uninterrupted operation. Magnetic tags enable them to move between different zones, while magnetic strips can be used to define boundaries for the mower.
Perfect for tighter spaces, this robot lawn mower can navigate passages as narrow as 80 cm and adjust itself to every bump and slope. It can smoothly work on uneven terrain up to 4 cm high while the rear-wheel drive makes it able to climb gradients up to 42 percent or 22 degree. All the control is with the companion mobile app – the user can set schedules, track progress, and adjust settings of the mower.

The lawn mower measures 626 x 370 x 297 mm and weighs about 9.2 Kg. The cutting height can be adjusted from 20-60 mm, while the cutting width is 18 cm. V3 has a built-in 2.5Ah battery and returns to the dock automatically for recharging. The mowing robot comes with an IPX5 waterproof rating, while the charger has an IP67 rating. It works at a 55dB noise level, which is lower than the Segway Navimow X3 Series robotic mowers.
The Sunseeker V3 robot lawn mower is designed specifically for lawns between 600 and 1,000 square meters. There is also a bigger battery model that can mow up to 1000 square meters. As noted by T3, the mowers are available in the US and UK with prices starting at £1,999 (around $2,100).
