Gone are the days when kids used to rush home from school to play basketball in the society’s compound, ride bicycles on roads, and stroll from one street to another. We live in an era dominated by the internet, where kids lock themselves inside closed doors and play FIFA on a computer rather than dribbling the ball on the actual turf.
Neither do I blame the geeks, nor do I castigate the technology, because both are the future. So I’d call it a day and dive deep into the online gaming world with Bauhutte’s latest release, which is a Streamers chair for hardcore gamers. I know that escalated quickly but Bauhutte has been far pacier than me when it comes to jumping the gun.
With online gaming and streaming becoming popular, Japanese furniture brand Bauhutte is cashing on the trend and luring gaming enthusiasts with its highly functional and aesthetic catalog of gaming furniture. We saw them drop a knee cushion table and a gaming sofa the previous month, and now they have unveiled a brand new gaming cum streaming chair that you’d love to flex while streaming online.
Dubbed G-210, the chair offers a large backrest which helps in maintaining synergy between the user’s face and the background. Speaking of the backrest, it is wide and surrounds your face to make it look smaller. Overall, the wide backrest helps in getting the right portrait and background which is ideal for streaming while gaming. “By applying the Delboeuf illusion, the circle (face) in the center appears smaller when surrounded by a large circle (backrest), creating the visual effect of a small face,” mentions the company.
Other than getting the right frame for streaming, the chair also offers the utmost comfort to the user. “A large lumbar support is installed as standard to assist correct sitting posture during games,” Bauhutte mentions. It not only supports the waist but also helps in improving the posture. Speaking of which, the backrest can be reclined up to 150 degrees, making it suitable for marathon gaming sessions.

The chair also features a thick seat cushion with a built-in pocket coils which distributes pressure evenly and firmly supports your back and buttocks. Furthermore, the seat cushion can be removed, courtesy of a hook-and-loop fastener which makes it easier for you to clean the dust accumulated under it.
In addition to the large backrest, the chair also features a removable headrest that helps you sit in a reclined position. “We paid particular attention to the texture of a soft sofa and the specifications that make it difficult to feel the bottom even when sitting for a long time. It is a monopod that comfortably supports long-time streaming and gameplay,” states the company.

Ideal for long streaming sessions, the chair also features a comfortable armrest that can be raised and widened. In addition, the user can even set the armrest to the optimum height according to their physique and play style. Just like any other Bauhutte chair, the G-210 seat can be raised and lowered within a range of 16 inches to 18.5 inches from the floor and is available in black and white color.
