Brooklyn-based studio potter Natalie Weinberger creates a range of designer products, including ceramics and furniture. The stoneware table lamps are one of her latest projects that draw reference from the history, but also maintain a modern feel. Available in three types of clays – black sand, pale pitted glaze, and vibrant terracotta, each table lamp features a wheel thrown base paired with a slip-cast, pleated shade.
Made from custom stoneware blend containing different clays, these table lamps come with six-feet of twisted cable that looks more like a pull cord of a blind. The lamp made from black basalt sand shows-off elegant textures and looks amazingly beautiful with the contoured design. On the other hand, the lamps made from terracotta and pale pitted glaze boast a cylindrical elongated base.
These stoneware table lamps create a beautiful play of light with non-transparent stone shades. The idea is really unique and there are a number of clay choices to match with your existing home décor.
