The French company SPEETA has collaborated with French designer Philippe Starck to create customizable, high-performance and eco-friendly heating furniture. Entitled SPEETBOX BY S+ARCK, the furniture was first showcased at the Progetto Fuoco trade show. Designed to be an innovative energy solution, it has also won the Innovation 2015 Award from Bepositive Flam’Expo and lounges.
The heating furniture is an 100 percent renewable energy solution, which is also made consistent with RT2012 regulation and Low-Energy building requirements. Supporting a minimal design, the SPEETBOX is an airtight wood stove fitted with a fireplace steel and two optional cubic modules that also acts as a storage box.
Fabricated to be an electrically controlled wood stove, it is also facilitated with accessories like a shovel, tongs and brush that are specially designed for the collection. Offering ease, flexibility and customization, the heat and energy generated by the system can be adjusted according to needs and desires. Thanks, to its mobile application that is made compatible with Android and soon it will be available on the AppStore.
Offering endless possibilities of design, the SPEETBOX BY S+ARCK proves to be an ultra-tailored wood stove that apart from storing logs and stones can be used to store artifacts and books. Available in three colors: black, anthracite and light grey, the SPEETBOX made in France is already available in France with local retailers but the International distribution will start by March 2016.
