When it comes to vintage-inspired Bluetooth speakers Tivoli Audio has plenty of good options to compete with the most popular brands like Marshall and Klipsch. For its latest project, the brand has collaborated with Grammy award-winning producer and songwriter, Sounwave’s arthouse new.ordinary to launch a new limited-edition portable speaker that can double as an amplifier for a variety of instruments. Named Songbook MAX, this new Bluetooth speaker combines a retro radio-inspired look with modern technology.
Taking a design cue from vintage cars, especially the 1970s 911 Porsche and music gear, the speaker comes in a cream color with chrome hardware and body wrapped in real brown leather for a luxurious appearance. The main motive behind the speaker was to create a high-quality audio product that can also serve as an art piece in the home, explains Sounwave.
The Songbook MAX is powered by a 20W subwoofer, 20W mid-range driver, and a 10W tweeter to deliver a well-balanced sound experience. It comes with a rechargeable battery that can play music for up to 10 hours. Furthermore, it has onboard analog controls for EQ, volume, and tuning on the front.
This portable speaker lets you stream your favorite music from any Bluetooth-enabled device and you can even enjoy FM radio on it. The company says it can also serve as an amplifier for musical instruments like guitars and keyboards, reaching up to 100 dB output.

This Bluetooth speaker is a perfect fusion of vintage style and quality sound. We are impressed with its retro look but the real fun lies in using the product. If we ever get a chance to try the speaker, we will share how it sounds.
