Whenever talking about a dream kitchen, it is considered to have ample storage, style, seating and other features. Kitchen islands are a worthy solution to remodel kitchens as you have the choice to equip them with appliances that you need the most in your kitchen. In a kitchen, people spend a lot of time in front of the sink, so it is needful to have a kitchen island complete with a sink, but there are some limitations when you place the sink in the middle. Canada-based stainless steel products manufacturer Julien has collaborated with renowned designer Matthew Quinn to design SocialCorner range of sinks to eradicate these limitations under its Home Refinements brand.
The design team has re-imagined the traditional layout of kitchen islands, and the way sinks are placed in them. In order to make most out of the kitchen island, they proposed to add sinks in corners, so that two persons can use it together without disturbing each other. This way only one sink will be enough to facilitate more than one person at a time. Furthermore, the stainless-steel sink improves the work efficiency as the cooking area will remain unoccupied.
The SocialCorner sinks are available in 3 different sizes to fit with different types of standard kitchen cabinets. There are versions to install on right or left corners of the kitchen island. The company also offers a variety of additional accessories such as a colander, cutting board and basket strainer to enhance the functionality of the sink.
If you wish to buy, the SocialCorner 31-1/2″ under-mount with flat apron front kitchen sink can be purchased for US$1,764 at QualityBath, but if you’re looking for a different size, then you have to contact the manufacturer directly.
