SnapPower Guidelight is a plug-and-play alternative to the standard wall switch and plug-in night lights. These hardwired guide lights can be installed within seconds and require no batteries. It is designed to look like and replace the standard outlet cover plate.
As soon as you install this wall switch replacement, the patented “Power Extractors” on the back side of the Guidelight slide into the electrical box, making contact with the screw terminals located on the sides of the outlet.
Its proprietary technology enables the device to extract power from the receptacle without depending on any plug, hardware, or an outlet. Equipped with light emitting diodes (LEDs), this device provides illumination in the dark while keeping both outlets available for use at all times. For more convenience, the Guidelight also includes a light sensor that automatically turns the LEDs on in the dark and off in the light.
It comes encapsulated inside the cover plate, which makes this handy device much more child-friendly and robust alternative compared to the standard night lights.
