Though it boasts an area of 150 square feet, the Simplicity 2 tiny house is designed to mitigate its compact space with clever layout and functional features that make the most of every inch of space available. Designed by Kingdom Tiny Homes, the mobile home serves as a vacation rental on wheels or can even be utilized as a permanent dwelling, depending on how strict towing laws are in your county.

Akin to its predecessor, the Simplicity 2 tiny house boasts a contemporary exterior design made of Painted LP Lap Siding and a Standing Seam metal roof. It consists of a spruce frame and has a mixture of cotton, linen, and hemp insulation on the floors, walls, and ceiling. The tiny home garners power from a standard RV-style hookup, while a gaggle of windows and a sliding glass door welcome light and air to permeate the interior.

Speaking of the interior, the tiny house features a living room on one end and a bathroom on the other. Separating the two spaces is a kitchen that comes filled with daily essentials. The living room looks airy, thanks to its windows and high ceiling fan that permeate the interior with fresh air. The living room also features a sofa that is a perfect spot for binge-watching your favorite programs, provided you customize a wall-mount somewhere in the house.

The compactness of space doesn’t allow the makers to fit an extra bedroom inside the house. But that doesn’t hinder your sleep. Ironically, the Simplicity 2 tiny house boasts a remote-operated electric couch that turns into a queen-size bed with a push of a button. Sleeping two people in synergy, the bedroom is functional, spacious, and incredibly awesome.

The Simplicity 2 kitchen is nearby. It is outfitted with cabinets flaunting various openings and drawers, a countertop, a sink, a microwave, and a refrigerator. On a little downside, the tiny home features very little storage space. The kitchen connects to a very compact bathroom via a sliding door, where a shower, sink and toilet can be found. I can also spot an array of storage options here, which I think should ideally have been in the living room or kitchen area.

Overall, the tiny house is best suited for retired or elderly couples seeking a break from their monotonous city life and want to settle somewhere in the countryside. Priced at $54,900, the Simplicity 2 tiny house can be availed from the official website of the maker.
