Italy-based architect Giancarlo Zema founder of The Giancarlo Zema Design Group has created a dynamic object-holder that cleverly joins to natural elements, i.e., water and earth. Entitled SimoGi, the smart rounded object-holder takes inspiration for the symbolic embracement between sea foam and an abandoned stone on the shore.
Fabricated for Italy-based design house Bsolid, the small but functional oddment made using DuPont Corian is a limited edition product, which supports a highly sculptural design. The design studio renowned for making innovative floating habitats and interiors designs uses advance technologies and software, which helps them to create more dynamic and functional products.
Available in six varied vibrant colors, the holder is capable of providing unique and surprising atmosphere. The limited numbered product (only 120 pieces) is also signed exclusively by Zema for the design lovers. Priced at €150 including tax (approx $166.86) the SimoGi is a unique product that emerges from the ocean floor and brings in functionality in living.
