Boasting clever design and high-level functionality, the Settler tiny house is the latest micro dwelling designed by Häuslein Tiny House Company. The Australia-based tiny house manufacturers were teasing the model for quite a long time, and even gave a sneak peek into their single layout model, during their exclusive interview with Homecrux. Finally, the company took the curtains off its long-awaited mobile habitat, and I have to admit, it looks ”pretty as a peach”.
Measuring 29.5 feet long, the tiny house is built on a double-axle trailer and comes finished in termite-resistant timber frames, Western red cedar cladding, sealed with durable marine varnish alongside Monument matte Trimdeck colorbond cladding. Other building material includes durable aluminum windows, with SP10 SmartGlass and solid pine paneling on the internal side.
On the inside, the tiny house features Solid cypress pine flooring and bench tops, and high-quality wool carpeting in lofts and slide-out areas. Not to mention, Solid Rhino Ply cabinetry in the kitchen and bathroom with Soft-close drawers and cupboards spread throughout. Overall, the tiny house is cozy, functional, and ridiculously gorgeous.
Featuring a main-floor bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom; this tiny house is spacious and offers loads of comfort. A glass door welcomes you to the living room of the dwelling. Equipped with a slide-out couch and a coffee or multi-purpose table, the living room is a perfect space to relax and watch your favorite programs, courtesy of a wall-mounted TV.
Adjacent is the double-sided kitchen of the tiny house. Featuring generous storage, bench space, and a breakfast bar, the kitchen is both aesthetic and functional. It also contains a black stainless kitchen sink, stove, clever in-sink drainer, drawer dishwasher, and plenty of room to accommodate a full-size oven and a fridge/freezer. The cypress pine shelving above the kitchen window and sink side allows users to house nitty-gritty essentials.

The kitchen provides access to the bathroom via a timber barn door. Featuring a traditional flush toilet/ composting toilet, shelf above the toilet, shower with glass door, mirror, and vanity unit with ceramic basin; the bathroom is compact, yet highly functional.
On the opposite side of the bathroom is the bedroom. As evident in the pictures and the video, the bedroom features a queen-size mattress with underbed storage. The bedroom also has a couple of wardrobes for storing your clothes. Perfect for a couple, the Settler tiny house is priced at AUS $146,000 ($92,739).

I love it. Having arthritis it’s safer to sleep on the ground floor. I love to cook and this kitchen looks workable.
I’m looking for everything except Sleeping to be on the ground floor.
