German startup Noonee’s Chairless Chair was designed by a collective team of Swiss startup Sapetti and engineering consultancy firm Zuhlke a few years back. This exoskeleton chair allows switching positions from active sitting to standing and walking effortlessly.
Over again, Marc Sapetti together with Jonathan Medcalf has teamed up with Zuhlke and Noonee engineering team for the improved Chairless Chair 2.0.
The second-generation Chairless Chair focuses on increasing productivity and optimizing comfort with optimal fitting, sizing, and breathability.
With Fidlock magnetic fixing, wearing this chair has been made easier. Its size adaptation has been improved and now it is applicable for users from 1.50m to 1.95m. The overall weight of the wearable chair has also been decreased by about 25-percent, which means it would be easier to carry. Further, the new materials used for belt, seat pads, leg straps, shoe connectors, and the vest also improve sitting comfort.
