SATTELAI, a creator of AI-integrated pet devices thriving on the benefits of satellite connectivity for pet tracking, has showcased a new Pet Tracker and Smart Collar at CES 2025. Both the tracker and collar support satellite-powered monitoring. The tracker features an AI coach for guidance while the collar monitors and offers health insights.
The SATTELAI Pet Tracker features a Qualcomm 9205S Modem that allows the device to directly connect with the satellite for accurate tracking even in places with low internet connectivity. The company claims it to be the first-ever pet tracking device to employ this feature.
SATTELAI’s founder and CEO Mark Mao explains the need for curating the devices; he notes “To make sure that our beloved companions return home safely, the SATELLAI Tracker and the SATELLAI Collar use satellite and AI technologies to accurately relay their positions and status at all times.”
The outdoors often involves the risk of pets running away, getting lost, injured, and more. However, this tracker makes the outdoor excursions with your best friend a worry-free activity. It directly communicates with satellite and transmits the location on your phone through an app, even in remote areas with limited internet coverage.
The tracker also comes with a harness that integrates built-in solar panels for continuous recharging and unobstructed maneuvering. It scales up battery power to last for up to seven days. Attached to a padded harness, this tracker won’t snap off or hamper your dog’s mobility.
Engineered with AI, the SATTELAI collar provides real-time updates on your dog’s health and activities. It also delivers comprehensive health suggestions about the dog’s heart rate and other parameters to keep your pal in its best shape. To maximize the advantage, the collar is outfitted with a dual signal transmitter and a multi-constellation satellite positioning system that precisely tracks a dog even in crowded areas.

To match your dog’s rough playtime, the collar is dust-resistant and endures rain and mud. It also boasts features like virtual fencing of areas up to 100,000 acres, allowing your dogs to run around freely, while avoiding walking up a swimming pool or thorny bushes. The SATTELAI Collar has seven days of battery life as well.
SATELLAI has not given out the official pricing, but information suggests the smart collar will be available in February. The company has plans to roll out the tracker a little later in spring.
