I fell in love with tiny houses long ago. But at that time, the only option was to get a micro-dwelling custom-made or buy a pre-built model. Renting a tiny house to get the downsized living experience wasn’t a thing back then. However, with more and more people wanting to switch to this lifestyle, numerous tiny house rentals have popped up to give people a taste of downsizing before actually committing to it. The Sand Dollar tiny house in Siesta Key, Florida, is one such stunning beach-side rental.
The Sand Dollar is a mobile micro-dwelling, built on a triple-axle trailer. It has a beachy vibe inside out, exuding through its palette, furnishings, and artwork. A tiny porch with a cantilevered loft covering it allows you to see how compact abodes with outdoor spaces are better than those without.
A bright aqua door leads to the kitchen from the porch. It is small but includes necessary items. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a sink, a microwave, a cooktop, a coffee maker, a toaster, and plenty of pans and pots to whip up meals during your stay. There is also a breakfast bar to seat two comfortably.

Accessible via a removable ladder, the cantilevered loft above the kitchen extends out above the porch and sleeps two on a queen-size mattress. Past the kitchen, a living room features a futon that can sleep two if needed.
Down the hall, another entrance door opens next to the bathroom door. The bathroom is spacious and has a glass-enclosed shower space, a vanity sink, a toilet, a small closet, and wall-embedded shelves to keep toiletries.

Now, here comes a weird feature, which I never saw in a tiny house. The Sand Dollar tiny house has a spiral staircase in its bathroom that leads to the main loft bedroom. The loft bedroom has a privacy wall and a separate door to provide privacy even if the entrance is located in the sole bathroom. It can sleep two on a king-size mattress and has a closet.
The Sand Dollar tiny house can be rented on Airbnb or GoSiesta. The beachside location will offer a myriad of activities while you get to experience how living in a tiny house suits your lifestyle.
