Coffee tables possess their charm and serve numerous purposes in interior décor. They come in various shapes and sizes but if they want to be part of engaging conversations, the tables must stand out in design and character. To that accord, the Rugosa Coffee Table by the Los Angeles-based design studio Kalon captivates the perceiver with its form, design, and functionality.
The Rugosa Coffee Table is part of the Material Studies Series by Kalon and is made in California. It is built using powder-coated aluminum and bronzed glass making it unique in its own style. The materials also suffice for the durability of this coffee table making it resistant to rust and corrosion, which is a natural phenomenon seen in the case of usually used materials like wood and iron.
It features a round tabletop in contract with a geometrical H-shaped base comprising two wide frames and a horizontal frame running through for stability. The contours of the coffee table allow it to brim with an altogether unique personality. One can match it with the other living room furniture especially a couch, sofa, or chairs thus complementing the décor.
This table can be used in living rooms at home or in commercial spaces such as offices, hotels lobbies, restaurants, etc. Interestingly, Rugosa can even be used outdoors with equal efficiency. The length and width of the Rugosa coffee table are the same – at 36 inches – and it has a height of 16 inches which is a comfortable height, conforming to the contemporary coffee tables that we generally come across on the market.
