The Japanese furniture brand Ritzwell is set to unveil two stunning entrants at Salone Del Mobile 2024: Constantino Armchair and MT Coffee Table. Founded in 1992 in Fukuoka, Ritzwell is known for carrying design to production of all its products entirely in Japan to imbue each furnishing with Japanese sensibilities into the modern design values. The Constantino Armchair and the MT Coffee Table offer a glimpse into Japanese culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design through sleek form and minimalistic materials.
The brand is known for using premium-quality materials including solid walnut, oak wood, leather, and steel in its designs, created by skilled craftsmen. Like most of its products, the Ritzwell Furniture Collection for the Milan Design Week conveys a sense of harmony.
The first furniture piece in the collection is the Constantino Armchair bringing together the classic beauty of design with a contemporary vision. The armchair is made using either solid walnut or oak wood and it has curved armrests and tapered legs. The contrast is created using leather that creates a way for maximum comfort.
The armchair has two versions, one with thick hand-stitched leather and another one with a minimal finish. The backrest and seat cushions have paddings made out of many layers which offer nice ergonomic support that makes the users feel as comfortable as they can be. Ritzwell has used advanced upholstery techniques to create a unique shape and style for the armchair.
Coming to the MT Coffee Table, it is somewhat inspired by the company’s MT Dining Table. The coffee table is available in square and rectangular shapes with a top made out of solid oak or walnut wood featuring curved edges.

The top is available in grey and matte black finishes while those who like to keep it basic are offered with the natural finish as well. The base features steel legs giving the coffee table a minimalistic look. Interestingly, the table is offered in two heights with the lower version measuring only 8 inches in height, reflecting traditional Japanese floor seating.
Ritzwell Furniture Collection for 2024 looks expressive with colors like Sohboku and Gen. The color application process is unique as it preserves the natural texture of wood grain. Sohboku has the deepest part of the material applied with intense colors like black and blue while the Gen has a shade of brown with a subtle color variation that creates an impression of sky post-sunset. With such furniture designs, it will be interesting to see what Salone del Mobile 2024 will unfold.
