As easy as it may sound, sitting in the office and scouring some of the best tiny houses across the globe is a real challenge. I come across a number of tiny homes daily, but it is very rare that a micro-dwelling hits the right note and leaves both author and readers in total awe of it. Speaking of ‘hitting the right note,’ Baluchon’s Rhapsodie tiny house on wheels immerses you in its melodious world to offer an ultimate haven for music lovers.
To those who are still confused, let me simplify it for you. The French tiny house is not just a mobile habitat but also a music studio on wheels. Designed by Baluchon for a client named Guillaume, who is apparently a music composer, the tiny house is the musician’s dream home.
Measuring 19.6 feet in length, the tiny house comes finished in cedar, with aluminum accenting. Built on a double-axle trailer, Rhapsodie tiny house relies on a standard RV-style hookup for power. Meanwhile, the cotton, linen, and hemp insulation helps the owner keep the designed temperature throughout the year.
Upon entering the home you are graced by a spacious living room. Though most of the space is occupied by the owner’s music rig, Baluchon still manages to squeeze a sofa and a folding dining table in the living room.

Adjacent to the sofa is the music set-up. The music studio features a score of instruments and gadgets ranging from digital piano and audio interface to screen monitors and speakers. Rhapsodie tiny house’s built-in music studio lets the owner submerse into the world of music from the comforts of home. We can also spot a projector that will help the owner binge-watch their extensive movie collection. Not to mention, the collection of DVDs kept in almost every corner of the house.
Opposite the music studio is the kitchen. Though it’s comparatively small in size than other tiny house kitchens but features all the amenities required for a cozy stay. Featuring a microwave, two-burner propane-powered stove, fridge/freezer, sink, and a washing machine, the kitchen is accoutered with almost every essential.
Then we have shelves and a pull-out pantry which makes the small space appear slightly larger. Nearby is the bathroom which is accessible via a barn door with porthole window. The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and toilet.

Baluchon’s Rhapsodie tiny house has two bedrooms, both can be reached through a removable ladder. The two bedrooms are connected by a small walkway. “A balustrade made up of two thick cotton ropes secures the floor,” mentions the tiny house company on safety protocols being followed in the loft. There is a little balcony off the bedroom that’s glorious and unique in itself.
