At CES 2025, Bosch has revealed an AI-enabled bassinet to keep your baby safe and cozy. Dubbed Revol, the smart crib has sensors that monitor your baby’s sleep patterns and almost anything that every anxious parent hopes to be informed of and updated about their baby.
The Revol looks like an ordinary bassinet with mesh coverings, but it also has a mechanical movement that rocks vertically with the mattress lightly moving up and down, soothing a sleeping baby. This stimulating experience somewhat replicates the gentle cradling and comfort of a mother’s lap.
Another important feature is the built-in 360-degree monitor that provides a real-time video feed to parents, so they can track all the happenings inside the crib. The arm extends over the bassinet and is combined with multiple sensors that sense the environment in and around the crib. It includes temperature and humidity, as well as a particle meter to measure air quality.
The makers have engineered the Revol with a millimeter radar sensor to track the respiration and heartbeat of the baby. This data is collected, analyzed, and sent to the parents’ phones via the accompanying app to keep them updated on their baby’s health.
Almost every product exhibiting at CES has an AI element to it, and this bassinet is no exception. The AI-enabled features make this baby crib more functional. For example, camera vision detects objects such as a blanket or stuffed toy slightly closer to the baby’s face that could cause harm and immediately alerts the caregivers.
Revol baby crib has eclectic features, but the company also plans to offer add-ons that will transform the bassinet into a table and a height-adjustable desk, making it functional for both parents and the kids as they grow up. Bosch plans to bring the bassinet to the Chinese market first. Around early 2026, the bassinet will launch in the US market. While the official price has not yet been disclosed, Bosch is hoping to keep it under $1200.
