Despite the fact that Seinfeld, popular sitcom of 90’s, ended over 16 years ago, but it is alive today on twitter. Fans can easily see Seinfeld memes on twitter to envision how the characters (Jerry, Elaine, George, Kramer and Newman) would interact in 2014. Now, these classic sitcom characters have now found a new home underwater, all thanks to a Reddit user Matt Davidson [matttheman11].
Davidson being an avid fan of the series, wanted to pay homage to this classic TV show. For that, he bought old-school TV on Craigslist for only $30 and turned it into a cool aquarium that closely resembles Seinfeld’s iconic Upper West Side apartment. To make the underwater home more realistic, he named his five aquatic friends after the cast of Seinfeld.
According to Davidson, it took him 6-8 hours to complete the Seinfeld-themed fish tank using some basic tools. Firstly he dismantled the old TV set, leaving the wooden cabinet intact. He fitted the rectangular fish tank inside the empty frame and then decorated the internal space with laminated background images and furniture. Furniture inside the aquarium is made out of fish-safe modeling clay. After filling the tank with water, the aquarium was ready for its residents to enjoy all around the virtual apartment.
If you’re willing to make an identical fish tank for your lovely pets, then you can follow step-by-step instructions by Davidson on Awesomeness Projects.
