There are many reasons to choose a tiny home. Some wish to downsize to minimize their footprint while some people like to travel with their house in the tow. For others, it is a wise investment in the form of rental homes that they can have on their property. These reasons have given rise to high demand and borne out of that demand are several micro-dwelling builders. Backcountry Tiny Homes is one builder known for its custom designs. The woman-owned company built the customized Red Door tiny house, which offers elementary living in a small footprint.
Measuring 20-foot-long and 8.5-foot-wide, the Red Door tiny house features a single-floor layout with a living room-cum-bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a storage loft. The loft is too tiny to be used for anything else, but since it is a customized dwelling, you can have it turned into a bedroom.
The exterior of the Red Door tiny house is exquisite in its simplicity. It has a gray cladding with a contrasting red entry door, hence the name. It is built on a double-axle trailer so can be towed using your vehicle allowing you a chance to explore the places of your interest.

The interior of the house is mostly clad white color with red splashes here and there. The kitchen of the Red Door tiny house features a countertop with a sink in the middle. It has an induction cooktop so that residents can enjoy cooking their meals whenever they want.
The builder has created a lot of space for storage under and above the countertop. An apartment-sized fridge is opposite the countertop. There is a low-lying dining furniture next to the kitchen that can also be used as a coffee table.

The bathroom is past the kitchen and features a shower, toilet, and vanity. The living area has a big couch, ideal for spending quality time indoors. This space can be turned into a bed to sleep two. This is the sole sleeping area of the Red Door tiny house. However, it can be custom-designed to suit the residents’ needs.
