American electronics company RCA, famous for its home audio systems, is joining the elite group of home entertainment companies venturing into the appliance industry. RCA has unveiled three tech-advanced, touchscreen countertop appliances at CES 2025. Each of these small devices includes visible windows to give a view of what’s cooking and keep track of things.
The new RCA digital touchscreen glass kettle (Model RCADK085) features a 1.5-liter capacity and an LED color touchscreen. The control screen has six preset heat programs, allowing you to set specific temperatures for tea or coffee.
Its presets are customized to heat milk, green tea and black tea, or boiling water. The electric kettle is set to cost $55, which sits on the lower side when compared to high-end competitors.
The second appliance that RCA announced at the show is an 11-quart air fryer. The new Digital Touchscreen Air Fryer has an LED color display with 10 preset cooking menus.
It will be a multi-function system, allowing you to cook a variety, but not many details have been revealed yet. There will be a window for you to peer in and monitor the food. Slated for later this year, the air fryer will retail for $190.
The third in this line is an electric indoor grill. The Digital Touch Screen Electric Indoor Grill (Model RCADG488) will also have an LED color touchscreen and a multi-function cooking system.
It will feature eight preset menus and a floating hinge system, allowing the user to cook foods of various thicknesses. The RCA Grill can open flat and will be available for $170.
