With advancements in technology, every household essential is getting smarter. Some brands are even updating trashcans with many user convenience features like motion control, compactors, and self-changing liners. There are different kinds of trashcans in the market but none competes with the Pulli Bin when it comes to taking out the trash and it isn’t even equipped with any fancy, modern features.
Unlike the traditional lifting-up mechanism, it features two front-opening doors that allow users to remove the trash bag from the can without much hassle. This innovative trashcan makes trash bag removal a bit easier for everyone.
You just need to fill it with trash and when it is full, lift the top cover to unlock the front doors and pull out the trash bag with ease. There are built-in door locks at the top and bottom to keep them secure. You can even push and compact trash without any worry because the doors open only when the cover is lifted.
The trashcan also prevents drips or leaks and can hold about 16 Oz. of liquid at the base, which can be easily cleaned by opening the front doors and wiping it up. This front-door design makes cleaning the bottom and interior walls of the garbage can easy as everything is within reach. Compatible with any 13-gallon trash bag, it eliminates the need to buy custom trash bags as it is with some brands.
In terms of design, the trashcan stands about 26 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 17 inches long, and weighs about 18.1 lbs. (approximately 8.2 Kg). It features a stainless steel exterior for a sleek look while the interior and trim are made from recycled plastic.
The trashcan has a wide foot pedal for hands-free use. However, you can also use the lift tab on the lid to open it. Other highlighting features are a soft-close lid, wall guards, carry handle, and door seals that enhance the overall functionality.
If you are interested in getting one, Pulli Bin is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. You have to pledge its campaign for a minimum of $159 to get one in September 2025.
