Renowned German automaker, Porsche has teamed up with Swiss interior designer Vitra to bring on a special edition of three designer chairs that are wrapped in the Pepita fabric, Porsche’s iconic design element. The product partnership between the two giants is seen as a fusion to bring the acclaimed fabric out of the car right into the office or living room.
Porsche’s proprietary fabric was first officially used in the 911 sportscar in 1965. Crafted in Germany, the chairs draw their design inspiration from Vitra’s special catalog, and are seen as upgraded versions of its signature models in a limited-edition run. The chairs revel in the epitome of style and performance to offer comfort in both, personal and private spaces.
Eames Plastic Side Chair Pepita Edition, ID Trim L Pepita Edition and Petit Repos Pepita Edition chairs; all three are wrapped in Pepita fabrics’ houndstooth pattern with small squares and diagonal stripes. One of the chairs has an armrest for support while the other two chairs are without it.
