Italian company Potocco has unveiled the Pony Lounge chair designed by young Ukrainian designer Vladislav Tolochko, which will be showcased at Salone del Mobile 2025. Designed to be aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, the chair will be presented along with other pieces within the ‘Flowing Through Shapes’ installation by Studio Binocle.
The Pony chair is meticulous and geometric, with a somewhat whimsical air about it that feels welcoming. With its generous rounded form, compact build, and smooth curves, the fully upholstered chair creates a soft and balanced look.
Its geometric composition is realized with the cylindrical pattern of the legs, followed throughout the structure of the lounge chair. The rear legs are extended to make the backrest while four tubular legs define the perimeter of the circular seat, which creates a curved, embracing profile. The chair’s sturdy appearance evokes a sense of stability.

Pony chair’s internal frame is made of birch and solid beech for durability while padding and upholstery enhances comfort and softness. You can choose from a range of colors and stretch fabrics like Bess, Cortina, Dolly and Uniform Melange from Kvadrat.
Pony lounge chair is a combination of the brand’s minimalist style with bold elements that creates a sleek and modern visual symmetry. The designer says it wears the grace, individuality, and strength of wild animals running freely in open meadows. It is suitable for both residential and commercial spaces.
