We want our tiny house to be chic, and at the same time equally functional. However, these expectations come at a steep price. So much so that renowned tiny house maker Movable Roots offers most of its dwellings for nearly $200K. But, if you have been observing the tiny house circuit for long, you’ll be well aware of where to invest your money. I am demeaning Movable Roots of anything, they are an awesome tiny house manufacturer but to spend $200K on a micro dwelling is not everyone’s cup of tea, and that is why you should drift to someone like Handcrafted Movement offers luxurious tiny houses at an affordable rate, and Pioneer tiny house is the epitome.
Costing $69,000, the Pioneer tiny house is no less than a royal mansion. The 28-foot-long tiny dwelling features a board and batten siding with cedar accents, and also includes a deck to bask in the afternoon Sun. Sleek and stylish outside, the tiny house is equally functional inside as well. It features a cozy living room, a practical kitchen, a spacious bathroom and a loft bedroom.
Visitors enter the home via a 9-lite glass exterior door to find a snug living room that features an IKEA couch that doubles as a sofa bed. Nearby is the built-in electric fireplace, whose mantle sports a 40-inch Smart TV. Another minute detail that makes Pioneer look elegant and classy is a planter box that is seated near the entrance. Not to mention, the wide plank walnut hardwood floors and chandeliers that add aesthetic to the home.
It is to be noted that the tiny house is fitted with Roxul insulation, closed-cell foam, energy-star windows, and LED lighting, implying there is very little energy required to keep the interiors warm. While one side of the tiny house is occupied by the living room, the other end caters to the kitchen and bathroom. Speaking of the kitchen, it is accoutered with a reclaimed walnut breakfast bar that doubles as a workspace, when or if required.
The breakfast bar faces a slab dining table with a built-in bench seat. The top of the table adjoins the sink counter to form the countertop, while an array of built-in storage cubbies, cabinets and closets houses groceries and other essentials. The kitchen area connects to a small bathroom that hosts a toilet, shower, a sink, and a washer/dryer unit.

There’s just one bedroom in the Pioneer tiny house, which is accessible by a storage-integrated staircase. Located in the loft section, it is a standard tiny house-style bedroom with a low, sloping ceiling, a double bed, and decent storage space to house minute items.
