Placing a birdhouse outside the house gives one the opportunity to create a safe haven for local and migrating birds. More than anything it gives you the satisfaction of nurturing life.
Birdhouses are available in a number of designs which give user liberty to choose one that matches their requirement and space. The Buhaus birdhouse is a different take on the traditional birdhouse designs and has a story behind its making which gives it a distinct appeal.
It was originally created by Bodgan Moga for a couple who rescued a small forest owl and wanted to have an indoor birdhouse. The habitat had to be fit for both humans and the bird, therefore, Bodgan struck with the idea of giving it a shape of an owl.
The designer wanted the birdhouse to be as close to the elements as possible, so he built it using paper and wood. Use of papier mache along with the bedding made from a piece of tree bark and water-based paint keeps this birdhouse free from any toxic materials.
