Oregon-based Outside Van is a big name in the custom van conversion industry, with over 1,000 vans completed since 2007. The company has recently introduced its latest Overnight van conversion designed for group outdoor adventures. The camper van model has seating and sleeping space for up to four adults and is fully customized to tackle off-road terrains.
Overnight camper van is built on the 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 AWD Chassis with a high roof. It features a FoldAway Murphy Bed System and a pop-up rooftop tent for added sleeping capacity. The company has partnered with Super Pacific to create a comfortable and rugged sleeping area accessible from both the interior and exterior. The inclusion of a Murphy bed helps maximize space as it can be used to store bikes or gear in the van when it is stored on the wall.
Inside the camper van, there is a small kitchen with a foldaway faucet and sink, a removable induction cooktop, a stainless steel drawer fridge, a Lagun table, and overhead cabinets. For additional storage, the van has an L-Track Package with rings and hooks and OSV Rear Door Molle Storage Panels.
This model also includes a bench box with a cassette toilet and a rear exterior shower hookup with a privacy curtain on the rear doors. With a 20-gallon freshwater tank and a 22-gallon gray water tank, it is designed for extended stays in remote locations.
The camper van is powered by a 310Ah lithium battery, a 3000W inverter/charger, and an 80A alternator charger. It also has a built-in chassis charger and a 190W solar system with an MPPT controller and an expandable solar port for extra energy.
The four-cylinder diesel engine produces 208 horsepower which is sufficient enough for any journey. The van is equipped with OSV Custom 17-inch wheels and BFGoodrich all-terrain tires for better grip while AGILE Off-Road STS FOX Shock Package with 4,700 lbs rear leaf springs ensures a smooth ride. Furthermore, the AGILE Off-Road No Rub Kit and OSV Wingstep rear bumper enhance durability and functionality.

This camper van build stands out with a centralized smart touchscreen control center that manages power, water, climate, lighting, and the awning. This particular model also includes a secondary tablet touchscreen that can be attached via Garmin magnet docks or mounted on the headliner or in the pop-up. The screen is detachable and can also be carried around the van – which means you can control the van’s features from anywhere nearby. This tablet offers extra features like an inclinometer for leveling, navigation, and camping tools via the Garmin Drive app, and even stereo control.
The Overnight camper van has nearly the same features of the earlier Piggyback model. Its public debut was in Tampa, Florida at the Florida RV Super Show. You can currently pre-order it from the official website but there are no details about pricing and availability.
